Taishe is much like her father in personality. A storm of whirling emotions that can cover multitudes of expressions in an instant. She is intense, with little care for the boundaries of society and their pompous rules. She can be terrifyingly angry, but like a storm come in the middle of the night, it is fast and over quickly. She loves children and pets, but is wary and cynical of anyone over the age of innocence. She finds people to be interesting things to be studied, and while she pushes herself and those she comes across to see what makes them tick, she will rarely, if ever, actually cause harm to see these effects. They interest her, and draw her unwilling attention to why they do what they do. She finds people in love to be tedious, unworthy of her attention, and despises those most of all. She tends to stay away from palaces and courts, as they are full of mischief, lies and slander. The petty dramas that always are do nothing but remind her why she does not deign to enter them. It is the peasants who invariably catch her eye. People who continue to be happy and relatively carefree are the ones who intrigue her the most. She watches them, waiting in the shadows to see how they can stand the hard times that come so often to those not born to privilege. They are like ants in a hill, yet they are distinct in the different and unique way they deal with their problems and each other. Her interest can, and has, been beneficial to many, though they hardly ever know it. And on occasion, when she particularly feels for them, she will enter their lives, to what effect it is not known.
Likes: Moonlight, shadows, starry skies, small children, fresh bread, washed cotton, and anything that smells like water.
Dislikes: The sun, daylight, dryness, adults, rude people, insects.
Taishe was born to a God of storms, one of many. Her mother was a noblewoman, who had fallen foolishly in love. Having left shortly after the conceivement of what was to be his only daughter among his many children, Tai did not receive much fatherly influence for most of her life. She was surprisingly active with her power, even as a child, stirring the wind around her crib to entertain herself. She was not a troubled child, very happy, and always smiling. Tai never needed anything more than her own power to keep herself happy. As she grew into a young adult however, she began to sense a loss, that of a fatherly sort of influence. As she noticed this, her mother's deep and abiding, though highly unintelligent, love for her absentee father became clearer every day. As a teenager, she became reckless, causing storms at her whim, and causing all sorts of trouble. She was and is still very independent, preferring her own company over that of her contemporaries, whether they are human, elven, or godblooded such as she. She can be rude, misleading, and play any or all sorts of tricks upon people in an effort to amuse herself.
She wanders the realms, looking for something that is more constant than the air, and strong enough to last through the bright glare of the sun. She has power over mist, and travels upon it. She also uses it for clothing, most of the time. Although, silks and such do entertain her. She is carefree at night, while her humor is still good. The sun, however, though it has no physical effect, leaves her feeling drained and depresses, almost insubstantial and invisible. Much like the morning dew as it slowly evaporates. She is stubborn in her refusal to become attached to a lover, and while she takes them from time to time, refuses to let them into her heart. She is a wonderful friend if she truly allows you to enter the hard to reach confines of her heart. Loyal and caring, she is generous, and wants to give her affection to many, but she has not had the best of luck in finding people of worth to connect with. If you can catch her attention, and prove yourself, she will always watch over you and help you anyway she can. She is stubborn, though, and when she is assured of being right, you wil not be able to sway her. She is aware of her power, and that she is not anywhere near truly powerful, but she can be a trifle condescending to mere humans. Her moods are like the moods of the sea, coming and going without rhyme or reason. Intense, and intelligent, she can and will argue a point to it's death, but if you can prove yourself in debate, she will concede, albeit not too gracefully.
Taishe has wandered the realms for as long as she can remember, never being content with one place in particular, she has no true home. Though she sees the Fantasy as the closest thing to a home she has, as it is her birthplace.
