1. Subject: Choose a thread name, and make note if it is going to be mature by putting an (NC-17) in the subject. Example: The Darkness (NC-17) or Under the Cupboard
2. Take this and put it at the top:
For Your Consideration .lyric Pawns: characters in play .lyric Status: private/open, active/concluded .lyric Setting: brief idea where you are. .lyric Scene: brief idea what is happening. .lyric
It will look like this:
For Your Consideration .lyric Pawns: characters in play .lyric Status: private/open, active/concluded .lyric Setting: brief idea where you are. .lyric Scene: brief idea what is happening. .lyric
More can be added, but none of this should be taken away--it makes it easy to know what you're going to be reading and navigate through. The lyrics are not required; you may delete them... I like them for setting the mood, though.
3. Begin your post and set up your thread!
What do the status' answers mean? Private or Open is whether or not people can join the thread without being asked first. Private means you want to keep it invite only; open means "come on in". Active or concluded is whether or not the thread is still going. When you have finished the thread, change the status for the thread to "concluded" and it will let people know that they shouldn't join anymore.
