NICKNAMES: Fairy, Fairchild, Fay
GROUP: Dreamer
AGE: 11
BIRTHDAY: ??
YEAR: 7th
GENDER: Female
PLAY-BY: Rachel Hurd-WoodDefining Traits: 4'11", brown hair, light gray eyes, 92 lbs.
Fayre is young, and looking at her locks that image into your mind. Though, if you saw her mother, you'd know that she was probably destined to look the same for the better portion of her life. The most striking feature of her face is probably her lips, fairly thick without being startlingly large, they are a very lovely frame for well-kept white teeth. Her eyes are her the second drawing feature, a little lighter than the average eyes, their color is constantly mistaken dependent on the lighting surrounding her, the light grey irises taking in whatever primary color is surrounding her at the time.
The way Fayre moves is the kind of way one would expect a 15 year old model to move. She walks confidently and lacks the awkward motions that usually define children her age. Her smile is disarming, and she seems to know exactly how to bat her lashes to be perfectly convincing. Her clothing is usually comfortable but tight fitting, not revealing but certainly not hiding the body that could have made her a young model.
At the very root of Fayre's personality is manipulation. She prides herself on knowing what to say and how to slide by on looks and smarts alone. She is shamelessly ruthless, especially for someone her age. Most argue that she grew up a little too fast.
Likes: Being the center of attention, gifts, proving that she's better than others
The things that Fayre enjoys most would lead most to think that she's a bad person if she told people plainly. She'd much more likely write that her favorite things were playing tag and slumber parties with friends, but the truth is just not that kind. She likes being the most popular kid around, and she likes surrounding herself with new stuff, but more than either of these: she loves the satisfaction of knowing she outsmarted someone else. For good or for bad, the personal knowledge that she had influenced a situation differently just by using her social prowess makes her shine.
Dislikes: Petty bullying, imposed morality, being made a fool of, being dismissed due to age
Fayre dislikes bullies, mostly because the act seems too much of an easy cop out for living life, and she hates the easy path in any situation. Fayre is common misconceived for a champion of the weak due to her penchant to be intolerant of bullying. "There is no pride in defeating those already defeated by themselves.", a quote from her mother, is a motto she keeps close to heart. She hates the social norm for the exact same reasons, and it goes without saying that she gets infuriated when embarrassed or outwitted herself. Fayre's biggest irritation--and the most likely to cause her to lose her cool exterior--is when she says something serious and is ignored or overlooked due to age. While she uses her age to her advantage oftentimes, when she doesn't want it to work against her and it does, it unhinges her.
Mother was a beauty and a businesswoman. A model in her youth and a talented CEO in her maturity. Her father was a lawyer, and the house was a business partnership. Fayre was a decision--a very rational decision. Fayre Sen Dandridge; Beautiful flower of Dandridge. They knew she would be lovely, and they knew she would be their flower. Both parents put in time to raise her, and although there were no real signs of traditional love and family unity, she wanted for nothing. When she needed attention, she was given it, and she was given the best of the genes for learning.
It helped that Fayre seemed to be more adaptive than the average child for indifference. Something about her was just.. colder. Maybe that was passed in the genes, too. Her father would call her his "fairy", because she was magical, he said. She could do anything she wanted; it wasn't perfect, it was far from model, but Fayre was happy with the life she lead.
She went to private schools, and like both her parents, she had a thirst for power. The small amounts that are available to the younger generation she grasped greedily and with both hands, becoming popular and using the intelligence and resources she was gifted with beyond others to keep herself above the 'rabble'.
Chimerism was an unplanned part of her life.
When she woke up to an old man talking to her, Fayre turned on the tears and tried to convince him with all her might to take her home. This proved to be an insurmountable task. When she restored contact with her mother and father, and found out they had sent her here, Fayre felt like she had been betrayed. Why not tell her first? Like every decision they made in their lives before, she should have been a part of it. No matter what excuse they gave, she could not forgive it.
FAYRE DADRIDGE
PHANTASM : GOLDEN FAIRY : PEOPLE
Fayre's first venture into the haphazard realm of the Phantasm seemed like a romantic dream. The odd way in which things spoke, the way the world revolved, everything seemed like a fantasy she would be happy not to awaken from. She was older in her dream, and there was a mask--a golden mask--that covered her face. She knew, somehow, that she had a home here in this district of painted buildings, and that she was a beautiful 18. The Golden Fairy--that was what they called her, for her gold lips and nails and beautiful glowing gold eyes. Her hair had turned a fiery shade of copper, and she just understood that the mask did not come off. She had various different looks that her mask could take, although it was always a shining gold
