Kou looked down at the journal, very impressed with her ability to keep track of everything that happens. It was also more than he was expecting, being able to see a drawn depiction of her dream form when he was expecting a verbal description. It made him wonder how many other drawn themselves out. "She's rather impressive and lovely. Here, hold on one moment." he handed the journal back to her and got off the bed on kneeled onto the floor. After a couple moments of rummaging beneath his bed he pulled out a large plastic tub and set it on the bed. It was only about eight inches deep to allow it to fit on the shallow space beneath the floor and bed, but it was almost twenty inches by fifteen inches wide and long. And filled with sketchbooks. "Hold on, it just, uh, might take me a moment to find the right one. It should be on top though, I was just working on it last week."
After another minuet of picking up and flipping through them, looking for the right one, he exclaimed excitedly. "This one! Here, this is Senka. He's a water dragon guardian." On the open page he handed to her was a larger sketch of his dream self wearing a traditional Japanese Hakama, and smaller sketches wearing what looked like Kous normal clothing.

Emmer took the sketch book, lightly running her fingers over the drawings, careful not to smudge them. "Wow..." she murmured softly, unable to come up with the correct words to describe the dragon-like creature in front of her. "Where'd you wake up at?" she asked curiously, looking back up at him. It was already getting easier to talk to him about their dreams. "Im in the Delusion. Near an elf village. Coatl's a shrine guardian..." she frowned. "I dunno whose shrine though. She can't read and something tells me I shouldnt ask. Talking takes a lot of effort anyways." She smiled. "But there are a lot of people who come and leave offerings. Humans and elves. Kids come and feed me and I play with them and let them ride on my back..."

"That sounds like a nice place to be. I haven't stopped to talk to many of the inhabitants really. There are a couple of villages that have started leaving gifts and offerings near rivers for me though. Most of them are friendly amongst themselves, so I have helped keep there crops from dieing when there are droughts." He licked his drying lips, never before has he told anyone the extent of interaction he's had with the denizens there. It was nice to be able to talk about it with someone freely and not have them add it to their clip board or judging him.
Kou nodded his head. "And I'm in the Delusion as well. But I'm not a guardian of just one thing. I can fly and I travel a lot. So maybe I can come find your shrine? I might have already seen it actually. Do you have a drawing of it or the area by chance in your journal?"

"I have a map....Well sorta.." she opened the book again and flipped through it until she got to the crudely drawn map. "And this is the shrine.." she flipped backwards to the drawing she'd done of the building she guarded. "There's a stream and pond nearby. I don' know if that'll help or anythin'" She flipped to the page where she'd drawn the pond and showed that to him as well. "Ill wait there from now on. Until you find me." she smiled shyly. "I wonder if anyone's met up like that in the Reverie before? They never really mention it when they're questionin' us, you know?"
She shut the journal slowly. "It's nice though. To talk to someone who isn' a scientist or somethin'. Jus' a friend and a fellow Dreamer." she smiled. "You're a lot easier t' talk to than anyone else I've told Kou." It was true. No one else had ever seemed to get it. It was all more questions and clip boards or judgmental stares and a quick change of subject.

Kou studied the map, the shrine and pond most of all, as best he could. He hadn't seen that one yet, but he was sure if he looked hard enough he could find it. "Un. I haven't seen that one yet but I think I can find that well enough. It might take me a couple of days but it's do able." He smiled back up at her. "Well, I most certainly haven't tried to. I didn't have any friends who were dreamers before I came here. And I, well, haven't really made any friends here before now to try it with." He scratched at his neck.
"But I know what you mean, about being to talk to someone that is. I'd told a couple of friends back home about my dreams. But we thought they were just that. Dreams." He smiled a sadly. "And you're not the first person to say something like that. I used to be my friends confidant and secret keeper." He sighed, slightly frustrated. "but now I can't see them and rarely get to kolrespond with them. I never had a long list of friends but it still sucks to have to be uprooted like that." He frowned and shook his head lightly. "I'm sorly for venting like that. But thanks for listening Emmer." He looked out his window, the sun was still out and there was plenty of daylight left. He had an idea. "Hey Emmer. You want to go explore the woods with me? Meybe we can find somesing interesting out there." His smile was back as he turned back to look at her.

Emmer's eyes lit up. She loved exploring and hadnt had a chance to check out the woods yet. Still, the are was small. It wouldnt take long. She pushed down the slightly panicked feeling at being confined to such a small area. She jumped up and took his hand, starting for the door. "Yeah let's go!" she chirped, forcing the feeling to the back and tugging him along behind her.

Kou laughed at her enthusiasm. "Hold on, hold on! let me just put everything away!" stopping he leaned over and picked up his bag. "How about you go put your school things away too, and I'll meet you out front of the girls dorms? Ok?" He was laughing again. There is plenty of daylight left and if we have to come back before dark because of starting late that just means we get more time to explore, yes?" He started putting the many sketch books back into the tub, and rearranging them so they all fit. "I'll meet you over there shortly! Now go go!" He made little shooing motions with his hands, giggling as he did so. The rest of the day would be quiet the adventure indeed.
